Pearson Toronto International Airport (YYZ) Madrid-Barajas International Airport (MAD) Nashville International Airport (BNA) United States Air Force Academy Airfield (AFF) | Nashville International Airport (BNA) Installation to Distinguish a Closed Taxiway AvTurf, LLC completed another successful installation during September 2011.  The 84,000 sq/ft project was a part of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authorities (MNAA) Reconstruction of Taxiway T4 & S.  AvTurf worked closely with Garver Engineering Group and Mountain States Contractors to provide Nashville Airport with a way to create a visual distinction for pilots on a non-movement infield island. This safety enhancing application of artificial turf is the first of its kind in the Southeast Region of the United States.  Artificial turf has been identified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a viable and more noticeable alternative to paint or other airport markings used to identify non-movement areas on an airport.   Installation Location Taxiway T4 & S
